Generally speaking, the tops of lasers screw off and you could just place a IR filter like this one Coherent IR Pump Diode 808nm Absorbing Filter for DPSS 532nm Green Pulsed Laser | eBay on the inside of the part that screws off.

If you don't mind killing that module you can take a lighter to the host as it might be glued in. The heat will weaken the glue (if there is any). Only do that though if you are willing to most likely kill that module.

It runs on a single 16340. I have 2 3.7 volt and two 3 volt and none of them work. I've made sure they are charged. I've sold the host and dead module to a guy and I'm shipping it out tomorrow. I'll find another greenie to replace it sometime.

Tried that and didn't work.

Basically, I just put the battery in and then turned it off and tried that again throughout the day. I'll try to warm it up.

Found out my greenie is dead this morning so guess what I'm posting. This is a small probably around 4 inch host. I am only asking $10 shipped in the US. It might come with a dead module if anyone wants the module for any reason. I'm selling this and my ipod nano 4th gen to pick up another...

So I go to pop in the batteries for my 95mw greenie and nothing happens. All there is, is a small red light that the diode is emitting. I was using a lot yesterday and it was all good. Its not the batteries as they are fully charged. So what could cause this? (i'm assuming its fried)
