kenom, I think there is definately a way that they can polish those barrels to a mirror finish without having to annodize or put chrome polish on. However, that might take more time, aka more money, for the manufacturing process. I think anodizing a gun-metal like dorcy mini color might be the...

I just RMA'd a defective DX unit as well, and got store credit for it, which I just bought a different laser from them with ;D. DX true 30 is in the mail as we speak, it was kind of a responsive RMA process, not good, just much better than I expected from DX. -Dough

Re: potential glasses GB? Greg, that would be for lasershades, or the sport elite goggles? I definately need a pair of red goggles as well, a GB would be nice. I remember correctly NES was gonna try to get some red NES shades, but I havent heard anything about that ina while. -Dough

i agree with Rhith, the whole point of divergence is to measure how much the beam deviates from its initial diameter, so it is in fact very important to know the initial diameter of the beam at aperature. For example, the DX true 30mw has been known to have a VERY small initial diameter, so it...

2.0 mm Beam Diameter at aperature....too fat for me... too pricy too, and i agree that there will probably be alot of stability issues with the higher powered ones...and that is ASSUMING that the higher powered ones are actually putting out what they claim. The case does look nice tho, maybe...
