How did you get hooked on lasers?

Battery question/Help
The module is meant to work with 3v so 6v is not recomended. If you are not getting a 2 AA holder, get dummy battery like what Bowtieguy suggested. Another option is to solder wire to connect the postive and negative terminal of 2 of the slots. This should leave you with 2 other slot for AA battery- marcuspeh

Very small working ranges
Use G2 for higher output but i wouldn't recommend using G2 for an engraver. For the engraver, you would need the beam dot as small. Lets say laser with 3 element dot has a surface area of about 0.13mm^2 (using 0.2mm diameter), a laser with G2 dot would a surface area of about 0.79mm^2 (using... -
