    80W - C02 Buy.

I guess you put something in the way of the beam, then measure the size of the hole/glowing spot. :D

    80W - C02 Buy.

Depends on what you want to do with it? You will definitely need a beam stopper, I have seen ceramic tile recommended a brick may do as well. Yes, I were not thinking. :(

    Biggest scam I've ever seen!

The listing is still there. :( I wonder why a seller claiming to be in China will ship only to Canada? It might help if a few other complained about him.

    80W - C02 Buy.

Yes it looks a lot shorter than 1.6m on the picture, the most likely explanation is that they use the same picture to represent the whole product range from 10-100W. You will need goggles, and since the light is invisible anyway you can just as well get as high OD as possible.

    WTB: Radioactive things

My blue-ray got lots of rpm, if I can figure out how to pack it, you can have some of them. :)

Maybe that member with the Deloran (what's his name) have some plutonium left over from the Libyans?

    red light camera destroyer

I have never heard of cameras at intersections to catch people crossing a red light, and I don't have* a car. That does not stop me from finding the idea rather stupid. Legitimate grievances with yellow timing should be addressable by organisations like FDM (United Danish Motorists). I you have...

Try short the diode, I connected + straight to both +in and modulation.

    AA batteries and Aixis Driver?

Sounds strange, what is the voltage input to the driver at that load?

Got my 500mw Green UltraFure From Price Angels!

Try look at the bright side, it is not too bad for the price and the host is likely reusable for stronger modules. :)

If I wanted a 500mW labby I would rather pick a random ebay seller. :D

    WANTED: Blu-Ray Flashlight

I have it in a 501b host from DX, the florescence is a bit disappointing. You could start with a $10 5mW 405nm pen from ebay, they tend to be 40-50mW, and if you pry off the tip you should be able to unfocus it.

    Power Supply

Well, yes. If he wants to connect his supply to a driver it should be voltage regulated to emulate a battery, not current regulated and trying to drive some current through the driver at 13.5V. (10.5V)

    Power Supply

As I recall the LM317 you are supposed to make a voltage divider between out and ground, then connect adjust in the middle, and you will get a voltage out determined by the relation of the two resistor values. 13.5V is pretty high starting voltage, you will need something like 4.2 or 8.4v.
