That taper is most likely a countersinking mark, why it's there i'm not sure... I highly doubt they ream these modules due to the high variance in tolerance in most of these HS

Thats cool I thought it was still case + from the picture. I have a couple of IMR 18350s left over from the build where my G1 came from l, all I need to complete it it's a diode and a jiblet.
