WTB: PHR-803T diode(s) and back part of Aixiz modules

I have a tray with plenty of high efficiency diodes left... They are extracted and tested.. I also have a bunch of end caps.. PM if interested.

Oh crap, a really mean Canadian

LOL! Your assumption would be correct... Damn those 4am posts, never seem to convey what im thinking :undecided:

Oh crap, a really mean Canadian

Too much reality TV :tinfoil: I cant believe you watched that video.. I saw a beheading once and cant bring myself to watch similar since.. Bad for the soul. This guy was an attention whore gone wrong... Fascinated with serial killers and fame. If you think that story is bad.. >...

    WTB: Machining Services.

You would need a mill to cut that ledge, at least if you want any accuracy.. Now you mention corrective optics, im assuming the lava lenses? You have to figure the length of the total heatsink and the working distance of the 2 pc optics. If your ledge is too short, you're SOL... too long and...

    WTB: Machining Services.

Perhaps if you post a couple of rough draft pics, you would get a better response. Manual milling is difficult as is, and without an idea of the project, there is no way to tell what is expected..

Re: SALE 1.5W+ 3 Mode Mini's W Gold Plated Copper Heatsink Video Added I'm guessing a mix-up, or auto correct just burned me :D

Anyone Lose a Laser And Feels Bad For The Person Who Finds It?

Those are good stickers for those who know what the #'s mean, but for the average person on the street, perhaps something like : 'THIS LASER WILL BLIND YOU, DO NOT USE WITHOUT PROPER GOGGLES' Or something of that nature. At least there would be an immediate respect where they may then google...

Re: SALE 1.5W+ 3 Mode Mini's W Gold Plated Copper Heatsink Video Added Appreciate the kind words guys  @ Xeno.. Tried to give you some rep, but the system wont allow it yet.. "Too soon" :undecided:

Possible new aixiz 405/445 glass lens

Lenses can be misleading.. I say this because if you take a single laser and try 10 lenses all the same, there will be differences. Im guessing it has something to do with the coatings, as well as the specific wavelength of the laser. When I build say '5' lasers, I match the lenses to each...

*SOLD OUT* 1.5W+ 3 Mode Mini's W Gold Plated Copper Heatsink Video Added

Re: SALE 1.5W+ 3 Mode Mini's W Gold Plated Copper Heatsink Video Added These are 1.5W so a little more power.. In low mode its around 200mW~250mW

    B&W Tek BWB-10-OEM - 473nm 10mW

^^ Actually, they have no optics.. Its a raw output from the OC mirror. To get a beam you have to add an expander and collimator. As to the driver, if there is a way, im sure it would be complicated. An appropriate analogue driver could be wired in to the 808, but the 2 TEC's would still have...

    Suggested mount glue?

I use 5min epoxy as well, but if you want a strong more permanent, use an epoxy that takes a few hours to cure.. Seems the longer the curing time the stronger the epoxy.

    Suggested mount glue?

Most optics I have handled are usually set with what looks to be epoxy. It makes the most sense to use something rigid so there is no slack.. Just be sure the contact points are free of finger oils or dirt and the bond will last.

Beam combiner tests (new battery-driver holder)

In all fairness, I have melted glass on a prism pair @ 1.5W but the beam was a tight focal point and the prism coated for 808... I did however make a labby with the same prisms coated for 808 and at 1W passing through them, the parallel beam seems to be fine.

    The Greekk ad

If we are speaking of LPF, members donate, and if not by $$, with our time. Open conversations and multimedia are what make this site... Not flashy ads. LPF would be nothing without member content.. Im not saying Avery's site was not a great idea, and we all know he has to maintain it, but it...

    A Big Thanks To RyanElectro!

They are both always a line... :banghead: Again, your definitions are confusing... Both can be shaped. There is a reason why most manufacturers us single element aspherics with multimode outputs. Saying they cannot be shaped is just adding to the misinformation you keep listing off in your...

Anyone Lose a Laser And Feels Bad For The Person Who Finds It?

    Yes, how inconvenient

    A Big Thanks To RyanElectro!

I second that! With what hes describing, it would eliminate the need for all that extra work. @ryanelectro Less posting, more reading  What you have described to your 'customer' would take a setup like this.. -cylindrical lens for correction, and prism pair to shape or 'circularize'...

    A Big Thanks To RyanElectro!

Correction? :wtf: It clips and has slower divergence, where is the correction in that? Both are collimators, not secondary optics. Last time I checked, the aixiz lens does not contain a long fl cylinder lens to correct astigmatism  Unless you have some new and interesting lens we...

    A Big Thanks To RyanElectro!

The G series produce a smaller dia at aperture, and in turn faster divergence. The only difference between them and an aixiz glass is power and some artifacts the shape remains the same.
