North Korea threat getting serious!

NK does not have the ability to do any damage to the powers of the world that have provided the sanctions that are slowly killing it. Just getting any one of the UN nations to lift the sanctions will provide NK with its desired outcome. Imagine if you could not get food or supplies to survive...

    Whats the difference?

"Most of these and other made in China green lasers do not have IR filters and thus can be hazardous to eyes without proper protective eye wear." You will need laser glasses that block both 532nm and any IR coming from it...

Special Data Logging build for a customer...

I get what your trying to say... But, soldering extremely small parts to a small circuit board and having the equipment to test it and strapping an engine to a bike are very different... I do buy lasers from a local member just hours away from me, that does offer a warranty. Being as he runs a...

Special Data Logging build for a customer...

But, if I buy a LPM from a company and they can upgrade it for me, then I will pick them to do it. This way if I have problems in the future I have a source for customer/technical support and possible warranty... This goes with anything. For instance I bought a BMX bike from a local BMX dealer...

Special Data Logging build for a customer...

Not everyone wants to build their own items. There are many situations in life where I would rather pay for a service than do the work myself. I do enjoy the LPM Wars though!

Where should I buy my laser?

The reason I said to have them ship it without batteries is, because if there are no batteries in the package, customs can't test it... :) -Shane

the lowest power laser can kill the Mosquito

Re: the lowest power laser can kill the Mosquito "SPCA might have something to say about pointing at higher life forms." I would never point a high power laser at an animal, unless it was trying to kill me... But, I could argue that the SPCA kills animals every day.

North Korea threat getting serious!

"The United States of America provided 88% of the 341,000 international soldiers which aided South Korean forces in repelling the invasion, with twenty other countries of the United Nations offering assistance. Suffering severe casualties within the first two months, the defenders were pushed...

    Oldie but Newbie

You could buy from one of the many forum members that build great lasers here. The batteries are normally none standard size (to the general public) and should be stored out of and away from the lasers anyway... -Shane
