I know this may just be a stereotype, but what is with americans and automatics? 16 is the legal driving age right? is that only auto or is it for manual and automatic.... So weird.... Manuals are the way to go, drop in gear when you have road rage and over take the slow bastard in front of you :D

Plasma is a little harsh on the material... CNC, Flowjet or laser ;D would work nicely

Anodizing is for aluminum, most laser bodies are not made from pure aluminum. You can scratch it, trust me, my paintball marker is anodized and it greats pretty scratched. To tell the difference is a little hard to describe.... The feel and look is different, by feel i mean it still feels like...

How about a solder sucker??? common guys if you gonna do DIY diodes you got to have the right equipment.. they really cheap like $4, its a spring loaded sucker, heat up the solder and push the button and there goes all the solder.. easy!

Big electric whole salers are a great place to look for cases. Flight cases are really nice, but expensive.

;D haha.. nah a normal DIY'ers drill will do, you'll get a feel for the speed it needs to be... oh yes small bits don't do well in thick alum, 3mm and up work the thinner the bit the more likely it is to break....

Normal drill will do... drill press is best, with a little tapping oil works really well. Slow and steady through alum it tends to heat up and then the bit gets stuck and breaks.
