That is powerful, but the Optotronics RPL 450 is powerful as well, over 500mW. I noticed the Laser glow unit has a diode life of 6000 hrs! That is not very long. The Optotronics is 80,000hrs = Awesome. Also Opto has a 1yr warranty, extendable to 18 months. I am very pleased with mine. -Todd

It got brighter because of the moisture from inside the balloon scattered when it popped.

No I still have the and use the batteries that came with it, I did buy a lens from Larry though and it helped some. The spot is a lot cleaner looking. Juice batts are 1.6v each, the ones that came with are 1.3v fully charged. So far I am happy with them, I may upgrade soon though. -Todd
