That 3.5mm mini plug is pretty standard for audio and computer equipment and earbuds, at least in the U.S. Couldn't you buy a plug from an electronics supply shop, or even just cut the plug off of a pair of broken earbuds to use as the key? When I bought my Jetlasers unit, I ordered it...
