HAHA ! i saw on your vid a 0:47 seconde that the focus point (rectangular one) of the diode, have in middle a big black line in it. I have the same black line. Is it a damaged diode or any 808nm diode (including cmount) have this black line? ????

I made an other heatsink for my 9mm didoe tommorow, it come from an old graphic card ram heatsink. i wraped the KTP in some indium foil (which are better than aluminium, because more smooth) i used a bolt, and the equivalent screw that i holed. I fixed my vanadate and ktp in the bolt, now...

i just saw on rp-photonic that the vanadate is also strongly dependent of polarisation of the pump, i have build a tec system, output is easier to find. Im gonna build a setup in which i can rotate the vanadate and the ktp, without lens (does high powered greenie have a lens in front of the LD?)

just add 3 1N4001 diode in serie , voltage should drop by 1.5 Volt, this will be fine fr your module you can find this diode in any junk electronic

Im not sure about the 500mw pump diode, i never found diode with a power more than 300mw in 5.6 mm package. Im sure that's 300mw one same as susie one, current is 370mA, efficiency of 808@532 nm can go as high as 50/60%.

thanks guy! i will follow your advice Gus, this day ! i estimate the pump power to be nearly below 700 mW, (current is 833 mA for a diode rated by chris at 1W@1.3A. I use a poor aixiz lens to focuse the pump, but gonna place the pump just in front of the vanadate, like the low powered greenie...

170 mA pot modded? the current is very good. I fried a diode of the same type at 300mA (senkat one). Let's wait for a one which is not potmoded. I guess it will be around 130mA.

thanks electro ! Honnestly i had serious doubt about having one photon of green... you need to find the right aligment and the lights is yours ! i can improve the design of the setup, just placing the pump in front of the Nd:yvo4, find the correct orientation of ktp... it take huge lot of time...

ok this is my first picture making 532 nm with susie crystal and output coupler the output is very weak, but i just tried to align the crystal rapidly, and it worked just by moving the output coupler But of course its VERYY difficult to have a maximal output, the position of the output coupler...

use a multimeter, in position ampmeter. Unscrew the barrel, remove the 2 battery. connect the 2 battery to the sping and connect the end of the battery to one wire of the ampmeter, second wire goes to the body of the laser. Push on button, current should appear on ampmeter.
