Pay to repair laser with <15 min of use?

Seriously you need to update your salesthread again. You can not void warranty just because you write the word OEM. You are selling a complete and assembled piece of equipment and therefore you can not use OEM as an excuse to neglect your responsibilities as a seller of a complete AND assembled...

Pay to repair laser with <15 min of use?

Tbh he should be banned for this. Not only his outrageous claims, but his horrible customer service as well. When he claims you can run it NON-STOP for 80 min which isnt even possible with a rogue diode (at least without active cooling), then it kinda shows just how clueless he is.

What power supply do you like to use?

I use a modded ATX psu. It has outlets for +3, +5, +12, -5 and -12. It delivers a lot of amps so its important to set the current on the driver. You can see some tutorials on making a psu like that below. ATX to Lab Bench Power Supply Conversion How to Convert a Computer ATX Power Supply to a...

    Dichroic filters for RGB show

What is the price on those dichros you found? I have bought some from O-like, they perform pretty well and cost 25usd for 2. If you want to see them in use you can look in the album on my profile page. Here is the link to them Laser accessories : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

    cheap rgb dichros?

You can see the dichros from o-like in action if you click the album in my userprofile, or the heatsink link in my signature - scroll down the page to see it used in a rgb setup and there are also some pics on my homemade mounts. They perform quite well and have little loss. Best regards

    RGB Mixer setup

If I understand you correct your need for adjusting is to mix the colors so you get white? That means its a 1 time adjustment. If that is the case then you should be set with the lasers you have choosen. The drivers probably have potmeters to adjust the current. This way you can set the ratio...

    RGB Mixer setup

MDF works fine for this. Its a composite material which contains no moist so nothing will change the shape of it unless you get it wet, but why on earth would you want water near your rgb setup anyway :P You already saw my setup with MDF and trust me it works perfectly. No need to buy an...

    My order is still processing?

I have dealt with O-Like several times and there has never been any problems. Customer support is usually fast and items get shipped fast as well unless ofc there is a public holiday of some sort. Not all chinese companys are worth the effort though, stay far away from wickedlasers.

    RGB Mixer setup

There are two kinds of modulation when considering a projector setup. Analog and TTL. Analog modulation takes an input of 0-5v on the modulation port which then depending on the voltage sets the lasers intensity. Consider a color palette in a program like photoshop. When choosing a color you can...

How many 1.6w Lasers can I run from 2 18650's

Idd, using 445nm for the purpose of signalling is not a good choice. What would be the point in having 1W diodes do a job which a 50mW 532nm can do much more efficient and much much cheaper.

Cheap Heatsink for scanner projects etc

It really was a fun project to do :-) I bought the dichroic mirrors from O-Like: Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products The board its mounted on is just a black piece of MDF. I drilled 4mm holes for all the components and then expanded the backside of the hole with a 10mm drill...

Cheap Heatsink for scanner projects etc

I can't say i disagree... anyways - below you can see the brackets actually being used in a RGV setup. My green laser is from a crappy alligned chinese pointer so the beam is not as wide as the red and violet. The green beam is not shooting straight out of its module so a large part of the beam...

Cheap Heatsink for scanner projects etc

You should always, if possible, drill a smaller "guide" hole first. This makes it much easier to get a straight hole when expanding. Ofc the best would be to use a metal work bench, uhmm not sure what its actually called in english :-) I have found a source for the brackets I have described...

    How to polarize a beam

Thanks for that post. If I understand this correct - polarizing a laser in this content simply means to rotate it 45 degrees on its own axis.

    How to polarize a beam

Hello all. I have found a lot of posts describing how to combine two beams into one using a PBS cude. What I can't figure out, and also can't find any info on is how to polarize one of the beams so combining is even possible. I have a couple of PBS cubes from PHR sleds and two LPC-815 diodes...
