That 1W blues around... not too much myth over them?

Dont know... of course you dont have to beam them directly into eyes like a jerk, and focus them in the skin for a minute... But i think that generally, pointing them around to shit and stars could be quite safe. Is just my opinion.

That 1W blues around... not too much myth over them?

We was three of us, in the room... all wearing goggles, just like three scared mad scientist, a Spartan 1W was turned on, and we was passing black sellotape on it, wondering how great a fast cutting was... Suddendly my sister opened the door, came in the room.. she saw the blue beam from a...

Build your own, extremely realistic, LIGHT SABRE.

no thats not. will post later more photos of other swords i've modded. The photos may look edited because i replaced the background with photoshop, on some of them, but that's all.

The LED lit saber, does not have a costant light diffusion above all the surface of the sword, you clearly notice a brighter part in the beginning, and the end of the blade with less light. Even if the effect is nice, it is not memorable. The problem is that the focus control on Led is much...

    Laser as in-home Self Defense?

I am sure you are joking or just taking a position, and i respect it. But i think if you take a life, even to defend yourself, you will fight with coscience the rest of your life. We having lots of defence effective, not lethal, devices out there, just ideal for homeless or drugg-addicts, that...

Low powered Laser, why a GREAT success in BIRD control?

You can't see the beam? They probably do! You ever tried point a low powered laser pointer (even 1mw) near a pigeon or other birds? (i really hope you didnt and never do, directly, with high powered lasers, to this poor animals) Well, this just scare the s**t out of them, and they take flight...

Build your own, extremely realistic, LIGHT SABRE.

You can make a nice lightsaber by yourself with a REAL LASER (and a little of pratice and expertise) around $100. Anyway, there is a fact, a luxeon led lifespan is 50.000 hours (some 100.000), a laser diode is average 5.000 (some 10.000). This must be said. So a laser saber will have a life...

Build your own, extremely realistic, LIGHT SABRE.

Correct, i made many of the and with different lasers. The one on the guide is a ROTJ model, the one in the photo is a ROTS, the one that joins to become a full double bladed sword. Anyway, the effect is identical on all swords.

Build your own, extremely realistic, LIGHT SABRE.

Here you can find fiber optics blades for around $20 Blades They have much more accessories, like custom handhelds and ready sabers, but they use luxeon led not laser, i tryed with luxeon time ago, the effect is nice, but with a laser is definitely brighter and better.

Build your own, extremely realistic, LIGHT SABRE.

Putting a such power at the base of a fiber glass stick: 1) would burn the fiber glass 2) would burn your eyes 3) would burn the diode itself with the reflection is really a BAD idea to build a lightsaber with something more powerful than a 30mw.. Under 30mw, would be fun a safe, above, there...

    Laser as in-home Self Defense?

Yes... but if you do permanent damage do someone disarmed, you are wrong. If you point a laser to someone with a handgun, he may think you are having a gun too, and immediately shot you! So you see, you have lost in both situations.. lasers are not recommended like offense device. You are right...

808nm lasers works pretty fine for hair removal... anyway you have to remove one hair at time..so it may take looooooooong time... indeed, they are the standard diodes installed in several home hair removal machines, like Rio, Epila and so-on.. :)

    Laser as in-home Self Defense?

To blind someone would not be a great idea, even in a case of serious offense, to make such a permanent damage would cost you a lot, and no judge would be merciful with you.. you imagine? Lawyer: "Honour...my client was just starving, he was just seeking a few dollar for his family..and now...
