    I may be mistaken, but doesn't a larger dia lens inherently offer better divergence with a larger output beam? The lens looks like the output of those "fat beam" laser modules on ebay. Could be completely wrong though.

    Quite important especially in builds using a high current draw. Another area to be cleaned are electrical contact points like threads and partially anodized / coated caps etc. Can make a huge difference in output like a bad switch. A nice fine sandpaper or scotchbrite pad are great at this task.

    If it uses a standard adapter the center pin should be the positive. It is 99.999% of the times. Just watch the voltage and dont exceed whatever the original was.

    Havent seen many boost boards using an opamp outside of current control feedback on a CV IC. But if thats the only chip, you'll be fine with an input voltage of 4.2V, just dont exceed that like using 2 batteries or you risk blowing both the driver AND diode. -Industry-Standard Dual Operational...

    3r3 is the inductor, id need the tiny code on the chip with 6 - 8 legs, possibly more legs. If its meant for a li ion then typically 4.2v will be fine as most cells are 3.7v nominal but 4.25 fully charged

    I dont see the driver pulling much more than 2 -2.5A. Aside that, the rating is what the battery is capable of in terms of current. As long as it meets the voltage criteria,, it wont make any difference. 🍺

    Thanks for the input guys. Think i'll wait on buying one of the "yellow" lasers until the price drops out some. I looked around some more and found the modules that they use in these square block units. Pricing wasnt much cheaper if not more expensive. Also seeing 545nm modules on alibaba...

    Nice driver. For the DIY minded and basic control ive seen a simple circuit adopted for TEC similar to the below pic. Beefier components and a failsafe is a good idea, but it wont heat only cool. Quite responsive though.

    Id much rather get 8 - 10 for the price of two. Are the 07's from a hybrid LED laser projector or one of those laser projectors? I'd imagine thats where the greens are coming from, would that be a correct assumption?

    Scored another projector cheap, though like the picture so much I dont want to take it apart lol What is the difference between the v and f series? all the same LD's with different features as projectors? So many different models, its quite crazy 👀
