Immediate WTB 1W or more 445nm

Ray I have a Yobresal 1.2W I've had for about 3 weeks or so. If your not familiar with it you can read the thread. It works perfect and I plan on either selling it or giving it to a friend of mine. I runs on two included CR123's and it came with a battery charger too if you need it. I don't have...

    Laser cases!!!!!!!

Go to the camping section at a sporting goods store and look for a sleeping bag mat that you can hike with..... they will have the kind with ruffles on it, smooth or whatever you want.... should be about 10.00 or less for a roll about 2.5 X 6 foot long.

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 \ Ah guess your right..... I think reading this is must have what threw me " I wonder how much more output the G-1 is from the "glass" Aixiz?...... I personally like the Aixiz due to the tighter convergence for my uses.

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 I think acetone will toast acrylic if you have the Aixiz lens. I found a microfiber cloth did wonders.... had one in a camera case. I tried the q tip alcohol and windex thing too... q tips are nasty with tons of little fibers and they are abrasive too...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 If you have the focus ring removed from the fully threaded lens holder.... imagine the center 1/3 of the threads covered with plumbers tape "about 1.5 turns"...no more. Just keep it clear the ends so nothing hangs over accidentally and gets in direct path...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 I had a 300mw Hercules that ran at 425 and settled to 325mw after about 3 minutes and my 1.2W Yobresal looks just as dynamic but a whole different experience in that the blue is the purest blue you could ever hope to see. Color from heaven??? At a...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 No reason you can't fire it up with an 18650 while your waiting. Chances are it will fire just fine since the battery is charged.... but expect about half power till you get your other batteries. You can always buy CR123's at the drug store.. but expect...

560mW Stainless Steel 10440 Jayrob Ultra Compact 445nm Build Absolutely Awesome!!

Here's my mini review of this laser I bought from DTR. First of all, DTR was very responsive and easy to deal with! I noticed in the youtube video that the penetration on CD cases were taking about a second or less.... but I'm assuming that was the G-1 lens at about 3 inches is what it looked...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 Just for grins, I popped a red balloon at 30 feet with it!... at that distance, the beam is about 3/4" long and a few mm wide...... gives you an idea what it does closer when the beam is more like a dot!

560mW Stainless Steel 10440 Jayrob Ultra Compact 445nm Build Absolutely Awesome!!

Yep, thats why I finally decided I had to have one. While the big ones are cool, if you have to keep it at home I find it doesn't take long for it to become old news to all your close friends and relatives that actually come over to your house. Even the 18650 size is not practical to carry in...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 True, for instance.. if your trying to cut and penetrate.... smaller the beam the better. If your trying to burn the objective is the be above ignition temperature and as "big" as possible. Many materials won't flash well without a "collection" of heat...

I have the same tendency with my lights on my nightstand. I have a small pocket light with 250lumens and three others ranging up to 9600 lumens..... 99% of the time I grab the small one cause it does the job and doesn't create another project in itself just to carry it!

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 Yo baby!... never thought about it.. but I bet your right! As awesome as this is for its size... we still want our cake and eat it too..... I'll have to also get something thats even more portable.. something that can go in the front shirt pocket and...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 I know I wrote a lot, but I explained that up close the line is so short its basically a dot.... meaning the length equals the width, giving it the same properties as a dot. When you shoot it into the sky at night you can bring the beam to where it...
