Can someone check over my 2w 445nm design?

You should go with a lower current like the 946mA or 1.25A you'll get a longer life with it.

    Does anyone recognise this?

Did you really pay 125$ for that?

    FS: 1.2watt c6 yobresal w/ safety glasses $115

I don't think this is a yobresal laser laser, since I think yob doesn't use a module in his its just a press fit and those warranty stickers were made infamous by army of one. Plus since you are new there needs to be proof that its yours no name on paper with current date.

    Review:Pocket Mini, red

Is that the pattern of a vice on the module looks like you pressed it way too hard.

    Micro Flex Drive Help

So when i was soldering the positive wire to the diode i necked this thing and completely unsoldered it from the board i think its a resistor im just trying to confirm that. So is it?

My first DIY was easy... (daylight pics)

I'm not trying to be a asshole (sorry if I was coming off as one) i'm just saying that when all you had to do is press in a diode and solder a couple wires its hardly a DIY.

My first DIY was easy... (daylight pics)

Its not a DIY if half of it is done for you already.

Surely this can't be for real?

I am serious and don't call me surely.

    The Lizard laser ( 445nm labby )

you know that you can run a +12 volt and use the +5 volt for negative you get 7 volts right? that is if that is a computer power supply.

    Laser Help

ok thanks so i make a test load with 6 .7 volt drop diodes and a resistor and then measure the current what if the voltage is still too high how would i know?

    Laser Help

im measuring the voltage directly is that the problem?
