@silvershot In my experience with XP and Vista a 512mb upgrade of memory won't have a very noticeable affect. I usually upgrade by at least a gig every time. When doing that you can start to notice the system speed increase a bit. Thats my $.02.

Maybe you are right. I never plugged it directly into the motherboard. I was thinking that it was for using IDE devices with a SATA motherboard but now that I think about it I don't know. I have decided to include that card for free with anyones order if they want it.
