I don't know his forum name but that is the name he uses on PayPal. He bought a laser from me and then opened a PayPal dispute claiming it to be internally defective. He paid $120 for the laser and is requesting a $75 refund in the PayPal dispute. As most know I repair my lasers for free most...

Sometimes I'm tempted to build practical lasers instead. For instance driving this one at 1.2A will provide 1.2W of nicely collinated 445nm with a 3-element lens, there would be no need for duty cycle, and battery run times would make it last months with daily use before needing a recharge. But...

Thanks Ehgemus, and thanks guys. This puppy will house a M140 diode hopefully doing 2.4W or more. We will see how lucky I am. Unless it hits some ungodly power it will be for sale upon completion.
