    Would this work?

I dont like the sound of this.. You could get into trouble with those 808nm lasers.

2W SKYRAY SR-5 With Modded Single 1.8A Microboost Driver

The 2x 16340 wont fit in the host. That really was unexpected xP

    AtMa-BoostDriver

Re: New 12$ Boost Driver! AtMa-Driver "Nearly finished", that´s more like it :o Dont worry, you will get it done. I´m a ZERO on drivers but you have my support!

    AtMa-BoostDriver

Re: New 12$ Boost Driver! AtMa-Driver Yeah its a bit smaller but has roughly the same output as the other one. You said it can power 635 and 650 from one li-on cell.. for that it has to buck right?

    AtMa-BoostDriver

Re: New 12$ Boost Driver! AtMa-Driver What´s the diference bettween this one and the ben boost? This one can buck?

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

I was convinced it could buck aswell -.- So i see the picture now. How would you feed a LOC with 500mA in a 14500 host? Plz you cannot split the batt in two :p Theres an LED driver that does that perfectly, it´s the "4Pack" driver. Its the only way i see under 2$ hehe.

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

Dont really know, I think i read "thermal". You know may opinion about this. LPCs need too much voltage to work at high currents with a linear driver out of 1cell. So i dont see anything wrong in using a 5$ driver, and it works haha. The only problem is the GND. Remember the ST drive (ST i...

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

Thermal tape. If i remember right, lazeerer used it in his 2W build, around the module. But i guess you can wrap it around the sink, if your dealing with a press fit. "no problem" he said

Super Freak 445nm Build "Fat Boy" >2.7W

Amazing! It might be the most powerfull but, is it the brightest laser in your collection?

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

Hi rhd! Well, It´s not very common to use linear drivers on a LOCs with one cell right? There arent alot of options and it doenst take long for the batt to drop in voltage and not being able to supply what`s needed. I mean people use boost drivers on locs all the time.. I thought you could...

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

I couldn`t fin answers for a few basic questions: Is this driver good for reds aswell? How´s the efficiency? Is is it continuous - ?

    635 nm single mode diode

Way to expensive! 180mw of 635nm = 400mW 650nm not bad.. But of course the diode will put out more than that for sure.

O-like Power Rock 1W Blue laser torch /Focusable/ waterproof

Hi walshy, So that host crapy brass heatsink? Is it possible to replace it? I´m getting the 200mw green version and if i can take it out and replace it by copper that would be sweat!
  14. LuxorLasers147

    O-like 1.5A adjustable driver

Hi yobresal So you couldn`t get more than 1.2A with one cell? Thats not good :( You could try to by pass the pot with a wire. Have you tried the other one? the 600mA one?

[Pic Heavy] 250mA 16x SOC Fan-Cooled Budget Build

Nice labby build and beam shots!! Your fan is blowing air into the box right? So where are the exit holes? May i suggest something? Turn your fan upsidedown, drill some holes on the oposite side of the fan (so the air would flow from the button up and pass through the module) and find some...

[Pic Heavy] 208mA 16x Diode <$5 Budget Burner

I´m pretty familiar with this diode, if i remember well, my first laser was a 16x in axiz module driven by 2x AA with only a cap across the diode and it still alive! Of course i never ran it for more than 10 secs straight but they´re so tough! Thats why i said 300mA is ok, expecialy with that...

[Pic Heavy] 208mA 16x Diode <$5 Budget Burner

You should have no problem at 300mA on that heatsink. I forgot to mention.. nice beam shots!

[Pic Heavy] 208mA 16x Diode <$5 Budget Burner

My God! Did you drop the all thing from a two-story building?? NICE xD Why only 200mA? At that current you wont even need heatsinking

SOCOM Mk23 1W Custom Laser Gun

Looks better than i thought! How do you rechearge that 3xAAA size battery? I heard their exotic and need special chargers xP
