M140 driver for C6 cree build

My 445 laser only costed 80$ thanks to that driver :D The picture you see is actually the driver Im using to power the 445. I used a 1 Ohm Res (its under the cap and it has the white wires) in parallel with the "R200" to get exacly 1.5A. The higher the resistence you choose to parallel, the...

M140 driver for C6 cree build

Yes im talking about the DX driver :) Im using 2x 18350, BUT, i didnt screw the pill all the way in ,otherwise there wont be enought room for them and the - base of the batteries will deform due to pressure (wich happened to mine :p) Just use a 8.4V< cap. (Connect the - from cap to - output...

M140 driver for C6 cree build

There is Nothing wrong with that driver, in fact, ive build a C6 12x blu-ray set to 500mA almost a month ago using that driver and the batts still dont need rechearging!(i´m using 18350`s). I just added a output cap for safety and it works great. I can say the same for 445 builds. But you can...

    RGB hand-held laser

I was looking into the pictures and I thought that corrective optics would be impossible in such a small space... I cant even imagine the nightmare man

    RGB hand-held laser

This is impressive! I don´t understand one thing though, why would you use multimode diodes for this? Dont you wanna get a nice white and round beam even if the power isnt great?

    !!!1W of purple!!! Lighthound 2xAA (14500) 405nm 12X Handheld Minitorch

Amazing laser man! Since you are driving it to its max and it might die at any minute (hope not), using a copper module would be a good idea right? You say it doensnt get much warm after some time, but that might be because of the heatsink being a little loose inside the head. I just think...

    2.239W 445nm in Polished Custom C8 :) New video from 10 kilometers !!!

Just saw this DX arrival: PRAIREFIRE 137 Cree XR-E Q5 180LM 3-Mode White Light Flashlight - Black (1 x 18650) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme I dont know why but i love side clicky polished flashlights. This model just begs for it, and a blue laser inside of course :D

    2.239W 445nm in Polished Custom C8 :) New video from 10 kilometers !!!

Re: 2.239W 445nm in Polished Custom C8 :) I heard the blitzbuck pulls alot of current from the batteries so i doubt you are getting full power from them. IMR is your best choise. Just out of curiosity, why didnt you go with the x-drive from lazeerer? I think theyre both 20$

    2.239W 445nm in Polished Custom C8 :) New video from 10 kilometers !!!

Re: 2.239W 445nm in Polished Custom C8 :) That is one outstanding blue laser! I Love that host man, I have one myself and it looks amazing polished. What batteries are you using? 2x 18350?

    300mW 660nm LOC Build in C3 host

Thank you for the kind words, means alot from you guys  The answer is clear desk tape  Edit: Well actually in my case, it wasnt necessary to insulate the sink because there wasnt a single scratch in the anodizing, but if there were any, i would never know the reason of the...

    300mW 660nm LOC Build in C3 host

Thanks :) Building a laser in a flashlight is no easy task. Thats why almost everyone start by building "Labstyle" lasers to get a feelling of the hobby.

    300mW 660nm LOC Build in C3 host

Thanks man :o Yes they make it harder to work with because the head doesnt come apart like the C6 and they`re are very small. I´d love to LPM it just to see if it reaches 300mW, I hope so :yh: Lets see how long it lasts at this current... something tells me not long enough. I will try to...

    300mW 660nm LOC Build in C3 host

Hey Guys :yh: I decided to build my first pocket Red handheld Laser :D It was a quite difficult and frustrating build due to the set up I choosed but I was determined to keep it under 40$. The Spec`s: - Diode: LPC-826 - Lens: AR Coated acrylic - Driver: "4-pack" 17mm for LEDs (check out...

"CLOSED.!!!" GB: For The New 3.8mm Red Diodes 660nm (REFUNDING.!!!!!!)

Re: "CLOSED.!!!" GB: For The New 3.8mm Red Diodes 660nm (Taking Payments for Round 2) I think the AMC driver will be great for these diodes, if it has a chance of powering one. If they get to us, i will definetly use one for the modes and 700mA. Accordig to Lazereer, the Vin has to be around...

    26650 Stainless 405nm Monster

I set my 12x to 500mA and I´m using a host that takes a big heatsink like the one in the hotlight. I run it for 20 min and the sink was barely warm! I bet yours wont get that much hot after 1 min.. How can you only get 560mW with the G-1?? I´m using the 3 element glass and i kinda...

    Need help with Laser build.

Well it would be easy for you to build a simple LM317 based driver, set it to 300mA and see how the diode takes it. With that current you can expect around 150mW with the standart acrylic lens

    Request: 5-mode driver @ 1.8A

You Could use the AMC "AK-47" driver with 5x ICs to get 1750mA. There are alot of versions of that driver, some have 20 modes xD. That driver can take a max of 6v. You would also want to heatsink the ICs.

Re: "CLOSED.!!!" GB: For The New 3.8mm Red Diodes 660nm (Taking Payments for Round 2) Hey no pressures man, after all you`re the one whos`s making us the favor of getting the diodes for us, plus all the work it involves. When you can plz check my pm.

Powerful Crown upgrade 500mW green laser PROBLEM

He says it dims alot. If his laser went from e.g. 600 to 400mW, like in your graph, he would hardly see the diference.. It doenst seem normal to me. Fist get new batts and then we will see wheres the problem.

    18650 vs 2x16340

You focus it a "little to much"? The further the lens is from the diode, the bigger the dot will be at the wall and the burning gets closer to the laser. Point your laser to your table 5" away and turn the head until you see the smallest dot. Then put the match in front of it and watch the...
