Welcome to the forums, please get goggles, and never point any laser at cars/planes/boats/people/animals. If you want a highly visible beam, green is the way to go. And it's generally a bit better at burning than red from what I've heard.

Diode-pumped solid-state laser - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 808nm drive, doubles to 1064nm, outputs as 532nm. Potential for both IR wavelengths to leak AFAIK. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Those glasses won't protect from 808nm IR leakage, did you pay attention when doing safety research?

The dot itself is mostly harmless to look at, however looking into the beam or a reflection of the beam can cause eye damage instantly. Just don't shine it at anyone's eyes, windows, cars, planes or boats. Or mirrors. And welcome to the forums! You might want to get laser glasses for that...
