Pretty sure it is a crystal that has an infrared diode pumping through it. So yes it has a diode, but that isn't what produces the 532nm wavelength

I'd be willing to sell, but it is a very tempermental diode from what I've been told, and I have yet to even apply any power to it. So, whoever might buy this diode, please know exactly what you're doing before messing with it. I won't take refunds if you accidentally break it :p

I'd be willing to sell mine, but I'd like to send it off to have a member test it, before I end up selling a dud to someone. I've never powered it up before. It cost me a pretty penny and I've been thinking of maybe incorporating it into a build. Or selling it. Either works:D

Pretty sure he is using his left over 4W C-mount 650nm diodes. They aren't in production anymore. I have one but I've never gotten to test it yet.

Hey Sta, I'll message you later today, after work, about mine. I bought it from another user here, who said it was 480nm. It's definitely more blue than any 07E I've had but I don't have a spectrometer to guarantee it.

I'd have to agree with Alaskan here. I, personally, enjoy a somewhat longer host or at least having the handle be longer/slimmer. Your host looks very well made but it also seems bulky and uncomfortable in the hand. I don't mind the color of the diode but it does seem like there is a large...

Every time one of you more senior members mentions Ehgemus builds I get super jealous:cryyy::cryyy:. Truthfully, his builds are the main reason I came to the forum. I love lasers, but a beautiful host always makes it so much more incredible.

Because of our laser laws there aren't very many U.S. based laser stores. Otherwise we'd have some pretty good laser pointers here. Like GSS said, try asking some of our member builders here. Or look in the Buy Sell Trade section, where there are currently many good builds available for sale...

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I've seen this talked about before. I think the issue with it was that the divergeance was so awful it wouldn't even be worth having. Or something like that. Maybe I'm wrong tho. Either way, nice find :beer:
