a former cop friend of mine would tell you that in most cities in the USA "Mutual combat is illegal" even if you both want to fight or beam each other's eyeballs with your 445 lasers, you'd both get arrested/jailed potentially ... but i do agree that if it were life/death and some gun-toting...

see --- i knew it was possible and i'm not not an engineer or laser scientist ... just have a very open and imaginative mind ...(i think ) ... :thinking:

yes there's all that and then there's brain chemistry and state of mind --- what you've had to eat ... drink ... how much sleep or how little sleep you've had ... how much hydro-weed you've vaporized/smoked , so on and so on ... :o

yeah i know that scanner denotes more the moving hardware but still... yeah 6 feet above the highest head and 3 feet lateral I think is the FDA rule for public lasing... i may be off, by inches or a foot but generally I think that's the deal...

I was sitting 'round thinking ... What if I could combine the spectral photonic brilliance of 532 green and 'heavenly'-blue 445 lasers ... one would end up with 487 nano-meters of Laser ... Is this possible ? Can someone engineer/build me a hand-held with at least 1-watt of this ? Please...

ive caught a few errant 532(200Mw.) and now, 445 beams and I do see how that 445, especially warrants caution ... even the beam 'splatter' off a wall or even semi-reflective surface can be searingly bright and white-hot to the eyes ... I have learned my lesson and will put the goggles on when...

that guy's profile and postings give me a real shady vibe like something aint quite right ... trust your guts, grasshoppers ... stick with an American builder/seller like Yobresal or DTR ... Yob. is a good guy and dedicated to this hobby, fully which I appreciate, of course.
