    F#CK Windows 10

Sometimes I swear Microsoft is deliberately trying to cause as many problems as they can get away with without it being provable that they are trying to cause as many problems as they can get away with. 14 system fonts? 2 control panels with settings for common elements divided between both...

Using 638nm and 520nm to make a yellow combined laser

Don't worry about the output power, output can always be changed with the driver and you'll want to set that by eye anyways to get what you think is the shade you want. Much more important is using diodes with similar cross section sizes and divergence. You will absolutely need to use a...

    100W laser pointer-

I'd love to buy one of these from you, but I'm worried that if I had a girlfriend she would steal it and then I'd never hear from her again since she would no longer have any use for me.

    3.5W P / 2.5W CW 638nm HL63520HD

I'm thinking a spatial filter might really clean up the output if those have anything resembling a typical "bar" array output.. sort of mixes everything together "homogenizing" the output and lets you clip off any trash as well.

Failure analysis help for Sharp 700mW 638nm

Maybe in the already doomed ~450nm "open can" diodes but for whatever reason the Mits diodes seem to be ok running inside projectors in dusty, foggy and otherwise non ideal operating environments and seem to hold up. I'm sure that a particle of dust directly on the output junction wouldn't be...

Divergence of beams of powerful diodes

Sharp GH0637AA2G Near PLT450B divergence, slightly worse but close. Use a G7 or G8 lens.

    200 W car-mounted laser!

    Cocaine??

    3.5W P / 2.5W CW 638nm HL63520HD

I'd build a lab style head, wave rotated/PBS combined, cylinder corrected, spatial filtered with selectable output power with the highest output set at 95% rated output (per diode) to achieve super long diode life and a low divergence, highest possible quality beam @ ~16 watt output after...

    3.5W P / 2.5W CW 638nm HL63520HD

Forget about anything semi portable. I was thinking as application for projector systems. Due to the required 90 degree alignment offset required to feed a PBS cube (and the real estate needed for setting up bounce mirrors to achieve that 90 degree offset) you're going to be hard pressed to...

    Some new reds ?

Did you see a press release for this or was someone selling prepro units?

    + Laser Art Pics +

You are truly at the top of your game, man.. all of those, each one is just awesome.

4 pins flat laser diode project.

Prepare for disappointment. Those flat package reds are always a letdown on how little output they make.. you're not going to find a way to get that in to an AIXIZ module due to the way they interface the heatsink, I would just try to mount the diode as you already have it on to a larger...

Do Diodes Extracted From CD/DVD Drives Vary?

Something like 350ish if you run them at 325ma. That may not sound like a lot, but you will probably be very surprised at how bright they appear due to how tight the beam is on those single mode diodes.

Do Diodes Extracted From CD/DVD Drives Vary?

If you're asking what the rated output is for various rom sled diodes, I'm not sure if that information is easily obtainable since most of the diodes are difficult to identify, however some can be ID'd accurately.. such as the Mitsubishi open can diodes. A safe conservative bet would be that...

Do Diodes Extracted From CD/DVD Drives Vary?

Yes. Hopefully it doesn't have one of those flat, plastic 4 pin multi-diode diodes in it. If it does, swear a bunch, then power it up and be disappointed. If you accidentally wire it reverse polarity and blow it you may have actually saved yourself net disappointment, you just won't know it.

Do Diodes Extracted From CD/DVD Drives Vary?

It must be a DVD drive to get a red diode. Well, a CD drive will give you a red diode, it's just a band of red that won't be visible. If you want a more powerful diode than ~1mw, yes, it must be a RW drive. This means that you will (typically) have 2 diodes on the optical sled (except for...

Scratch-built green laser with display and instrumentation

Noyce! Very well done, reminds me of the quality and advanced design of this https://laserpointerforums.com/threads/battery-powered-labby-mark-ii.104453/

    500mw 638nm Mitsubishi ML501P73 Build (w/pics)

Run it around 840ma, much more than that seems to actually reduce the output. I'm not sure if it's actually outputting less power or if the wavelength is increasing and making it appear dimmer but either way they seem to have a hard limit on brightness. Someone did a power test on either LPF...

    500mw 638nm Mitsubishi ML501P73 Build (w/pics)

If you desire to follow the path of The Way, there is only one choice of C-lenses. They are the OPT (the Polish OPT Lasers not the Chinese OPT Lasers, you would think there was plenty of room in the laser world for unique company names but whatever, I guess) C-lens 6X Pair with Brass Mount...

    NUBM31T 95W 455nm

Isn't that a small enough spot to use for CNC?
