    NUBM0G - 465-470nm Beast!

They also have that same diode (the older 4.1w nubm0c) recanned without FAC for much less than the 200 dollar FAC unit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/175663961003

    NUBM0G - 465-470nm Beast!

I know that you deal with a lot of volume and thats why I asked you 😊, I figured you would know if their defective units were few or many.

New horizons Nichia NUBC31T coming soon 465nm 13W rated!

LOL Germany must be having a effect on them.

    NUBM0G - 465-470nm Beast!

Well, yes… 🙂 but are you certain those Chinese modules you were talking about had diodes from Lasertree, or were they just recanned from someone? Also did you have multiple diodes have the can fall off or just one? Having one defective unit is one thing but several and knowing of others that...

    NUBM0G - 465-470nm Beast!

I have never heard of any problems with diodes from Lasertree, quite a few people on LPF have ordered from them and as far as I know nobody had any complaints.

New horizons Nichia NUBC31T coming soon 465nm 13W rated!

Ooooh man…. Guess I found the next diode I’m going to purchase, now I’ll need to figure out how to mount this new case they've built it in to replace the canned/backfilled NUBM07 in my lab build. Already set up with corrective optics which should help with this diode. Any idea on when it will...

30w Red 1064nm laser not converting to green 532nm

To answer this question you may want to try asking PhotonLexicon member Mixedgas, he seems to be extremely knowledgeable and may be able to help.

The Sky Blue 465nm-470nm laser pointer

Your laser should not have an N465 diode in it as it would be a Class IV laser if it used an N465 instead of Class IIIa which you stated yours is rated. The N465 was a canned version of a NUBM07 that was modified by a 3rd party which Jordan of DTR Lasers sold for a brief time. To my knowledge...

New G9T lens best divergence and power!

Could you compare the G8 and the G9t lenses at a distance of say, 3 meters.. showing the spot size at that distance? Also where are you getting the larger AIXIZ modules for this lens and where are you finding the lens itself? I cannot find the larger AIXIZ module nor the G9t lens when...

NUBM0C 465nm 4.1 Watt Laser Diode with square spot FAC (Fast Axis correction) offered for sale from Laser Tree on ebay by seller: 'sabzh21'

So, when focused, is the line smaller than that of an "un-fac'd" diode? Sort of an important bit of information that wasn't provided, your post gives the impression that there is no advantage to getting a FAC'd diode and I'm not sure that is true. :0) Also I thought that the consensus in a...

    Sharp GH04C05B9G 5W 440-450nm

I'm not him but I'm guessing it was a trick to get .33 ohms with what was on hand and probably also happened to lower the power over each resistor enough to be in spec. Useful tools for making an LM317 or LM338 or LM350 current regulator are Current to resistance value calculator for...

Low divergence FAC corrected Red combiner modules

Off topic but can I ask who makes those SR speakers in the warehouse photo? Those look like some seriously nice loudspeakers.

    New! Sharp Diodes 1W 520nm & 5W 455nm & +2W 638nm

Thank you so much for clarifying this. However, I do have one question Does this mean that when using the linear FAC the overall divergence will be better than when using the square FAC, but will still have a rectangular profile that is lengthwise 90 degrees to the uncorrected diode's...

My Furst Custom laser 7W+ NUBM0E

That's a nice build and the G8 should help your beam have lower divergence than the G2 (and higher output than the 3 element). One thing though, please don't point it at buildings that have people inside them!

    New! Sharp Diodes 1W 520nm & 5W 455nm & +2W 638nm

Hello there Steve, I'm wondering if you can solve a question that I have about the FACed diodes from LaserTree. Back when these came out some members purchased them and had a difficult time obtaining the expected square beam profile without using a very large 100mm FL lens. What I am confused...

Which is the most powerfull green laser diode on the market?

From what I understand the NUGM04 is one of many high output terrible divergence diodes, somewhere between NUBM07 and NUBM44 terribleness, due to the size of the emitter itself. As you know, you can do several things to achieve lower divergence. The best option for output quality would be 6X...

    NUGM04 525nm laser build

Pretty sure it is, at least that I know of there's nothing else that has a rating from the horse's mouth that matches or exceeds 1.35W @1.9A operating current and 1.6W (extrapolated from operating current output) at the 2.3A Absolute Maximum.

    NUGM04 525nm laser build

Using a G8 lens will help a bit with the horrible divergence and you may see a little higher output power as well. Another option is to leave the ball lens in place and use a 6X expansion C-lens pair in front of it to 'circularize' (in reality 'squareularize' :0) the output for much lower...

Which is the most powerfull green laser diode on the market?

To answer your question ("Which is the most powerfull [SIC] green laser diode on the market"), unless I'm mistaken the most powerful green diode is the NUGM04... rated at 1.35W @1.9A (rated operating current) and 1.6W (typical)@2.3A (rated Absolute Maximum current). I'm a little bit surprised...
