using laser pointer to mark athletic fields

If you go for the 5mW laser it wont be an eye hazard, and heatsinking shouldn't be much of a problem.

using laser pointer to mark athletic fields

Correct. Lower mRad = smaller dot at a distance. It should be around .5 mRad for a 2" spot at 300'

using laser pointer to mark athletic fields

Welcome to LPF. It would work great. Green is going to be the brightest to the human eye, and 5mW should be fine. Anything over 5mW is an eye hazard. How do I focus a laser beam?

You need an Aixiz Module. AixiZ 10pack 12x30mm Housing Blanks, AixiZ You will also need goggles. Any laser that can cut foam can blind you instantly. A beginners guide can be found here

    Things' broke sale!

Interested in the WiFi extender, the 3.8mm diodes depending on price. What would a reasonable offer for those be? EDIT: do the LPCs have drivers in the module? EDIT 2: I want the 473, but shipping is a killer to the us I assume. This sale is going to make me broke.
