Back to the original post, I just received the tailcap + batteries for my new style dilda (no laser yet :yabbem:) in 6 days after the confirmation e-mail. I believe its the fastest shipment I've ever had coming from China.

I say you should just order it already, don't worry... coming from a trusted seller your laser will be fine. :D

Any green laser over ~40 mW will be able to burn, like my 50 mW can pop balloons easily and barely put marks into dark plastic. If you want to be able to light matches and cut through plastic, you probably need at least 100 mW. You could always go to the "reviews" section of these forums, go to...

It's a shame, at that price you could have received a real 50 mW from o-like or Rayfoss.

Pot-modding is probably impossible to do with most laser pointers. It is simply turning the potentiometer on the driver to increase the current and hopefully the power. Many lasers now don't even have a "pot". I highly advice you to NOT to attempt to pot mod your laser, I can almost guarantee...

Welcome to LPF! Along with posting your products in the B/S/T section, you could always ask a trusted member with an LPM to make a review about the laser for you.

You could always pot mod the laser (but don't, you are almost guaranteed to end up with a broken laser), but other than that ... no. I definetly would not trust either of those lasers. Look at some lasers from o-like or rayfoss, both are reputable, safe sellers and their prices are great. If...

You can use this graph to see for yourself... looks like 635 is about ~10% brighter to the human eye than 650.

Sounds like a 5 mW at best... Might want to buy one from O-like or Rayfoss next time, there you will actually get a laser close to its advertised power! lol, last line made me laugh :D
