In no way is this true, and I highly doubt the author meant to "trick" anyone into thinking it was. The author probably wrote it as a joke (made obvious by the generic "laser noob assumptions" like how green is much more powerful than red because it is brighter), and as an insult to the ignorant...

Rayfoss is a trusted company here... maybe if you put the thread in the right section, provided some evidence (pictures maybe?) and took the time to fix grammar / punctuation etc., then I would take you seriously. I don't want to seem mean or anything but if you really want to affect peoples'...

How severe is the dimming? Is it truly from a spectacular beam to a barely visible beam? Most greenies I have encountered seem to also "dim" after a couple seconds, but not by much. I don't think this is a real problem considering the decrease in power is barely noticeable. As stated above, it...

I do believe there should not be a minimum, but only a maximum mW, I'm sure someone somewhere is selling a 1 mW green etc. I also think it would be possible to make pen lasers at much higher powers than listed there, its just that the small heatsink will reduce it to a very, very tiny duty...

The quality of Wicked Lasers seems to be sufficient, its just the horrible overpricing that makes them a "scam". So no, you didn't waste $110 on a 20 mW, you wasted about 80 dollars. You could have received a 30 mW from Rayfoss or O-like with adequate quality for only around $30.

I know waiting for a laser is hard :cryyy: but be a little patient, It'll get to you eventually.

I agree, this forum's format is amazing in the fact that I could actually find where everything was on my first day. Kudos to whoever designed it :bowdown:
