    ►CLOSED AMK GB◄ ~ SF-AW210 Diodes $10 Each

Got mine in the mail today as well! No sled puke thankfully! Sleds: Total Winnings: 6 Diodes (IR(?), Bluray, Red): Extracted diodes: Great doing business with you AMK, thanks!

Re: *445nm lasers* !diodes 38.50$! I think a laser this powerful could be used unfocused to make a large spot to use like a high power flashlight. It would just disorient or flashblind the person, if it was unfocused to a large spot it might not cause permanent damage, plus you wouldn't need...

Re: *445nm lasers* !diodes 38.50$! Not sure, I caught the end of it, he was solder-bridging the pins for ESD protection.

Re: *445nm lasers* !diodes 38.50$! Yeah, there was a live stream last night, I don't think it was recorded, but it sounded like kiyoukan's friend/roommate/someone got some pics when they were playing with the projector, so perhaps he'll post those sometime.

Re: *445nm lasers* !diodes 38.50$! So can we agree that folding some aluminum foil over the pink bags is fine? From the video feed last night, he's already got them in pink bags and has the leads shorted. That ought to be plenty already, but I'm sure some extra al-foil will make people a...

Re: *445nm lasers* !diodes 38.50$! Good choice, don't risk ESD damage with that iron. Not sure specifically which soldering iron you have, but I know my old 40W adjustable power Weller (WLC-100) had some nasty AC voltage on the tip, I was able to measure it with a scope at essentially line...

Re: GB for OEM Laser Systems protective eyewear I didn't notice the AL3's the first time around, what do you guys recommend (compared to the ARG)? AL3 is OD3+ for 405/445nm, which is plenty good enough, knocks 1W down to 1mW, but VLT is only 19%, vs. OD7+ for 405/445nm (knocks 1W down to...

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! I'm still in for a diode, especially if it's an A140. Just let me know what the final added cost is and when to pay.

    ►CLOSED AMK GB◄ ~ SF-AW210 Diodes $10 Each

Re: ►AMK GB◄ ~ SF-AW210 Diodes $10 Each You can pick diodes or sleds. Sleds are damaged, but the diodes still work. Sleds may or may not also have a red LCC diode.

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! Seeing as difficult as it was to round up payments the first time, I think it would be a lot of hassle (and a lot of extra time) to round up everyone again and make additional payments. We'll see what happens and await updates, not much more to do.

Re: GB for OEM Laser Systems protective eyewear I was interested in that, the thread that was already posted for that turned into the OEM group buy. I've still got a little bit of concern of the quality/certification of the DL glasses, but for $30 or more cheaper, it's pretty tempting.

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! One step at a time, we're not even sure if we can get the A-130 arrays at the same price as originally, let alone "upgrade" to the A-140's instead...

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! I'll be implementing most of the features with a microcontroller, possibly including the boost driver, I haven't decided on that yet, so a delay is no problem. I'm planning on putting a battery indicator and a few selectable power outputs as...

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! Hmm thanks for the tips. I don't think I can do all of those (namely remote shutoff and aperture shutter), but I still plan to make mine safer than a normal click-on laser pointer. Instead of a 3 second delay, would a low power-transitioning to...

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$! Funny, I'm tempted to make a small 445nm instead. My current plan is to make an FDA type one, though I'm just in the planning stages so far. Where can I find the rules for a class IV laser (summarized)? Kind of a pain to sift through the laws...

    Modular PHR Build

From the DX reviews/forum, yes it looks like that has adhesive properties, as long as what you're gluing doesn't need to withstand too much force/vibration.
