well the 405 is $20, and the hades is going to be sourced for about 100 (which is pretty cheap for what you will end up getting.) best part about hades is that it comes with EVERYTHING you need to start lasing responsibly and in a safe manner. glasses, battery, charger, everything!

i dont know. i have a cheapie 405 and i can insert battery wrong ALL DAY LONG with no ill effects. however yours may not be blessed with the surprisingly amazing protection circuit that mine has.

yes make sure batteries are correct. recently had a protection circuit fry. on an expensive laser.

405 is usually a dim color...

if your gonna complain power then buy a 1w 445. we take no responsibility for your actions however so you and all observers would need safety gear. for $100 your gonna get maybe a 100 mw green. and what you have is probably under spec. not sure though. where are you located?

Yes red but will be doing customs if asked for. I was just assuming wavelength was still up in the air. I could make a 445 for more then the average hades (445 diodes cost more then the native hades diodes)

I'm making one Neptune an keeping it. However hades is part of my up coming laser line. My laser line is quite exciting and I'm sure everyone will love it however no more details other then name for now ;)
