Surplus, or from a seller who's liquidating old and arguably useless (to the mass majority) equipment? 1/10-1/20th of that cost. Lurk on ebay, that's pretty much your only option.

for efficiency, shouldn't you also be looking at Vf?

I got my hands on a ton of self ballasted GE "Ezmerc" bulbs. Lighting | HSB160/M | 45178 | GE Lighting Could never really figure out a use for them. Too big and inefficient. Ended throwing them up on ebay.

If it does use 18650s, that'd be a 3s2p (3 series, 2 parallel) pack.

online.php had been changed to artificially inflate the number of online users. Normally, forums display either 15 minutes or 1 hour of visitors, but in this forum's case it's over 3 days. Who knows what else has been done.

I honestly wouldn't bother. if the laptop isn't detecting the pack, the protection IC has disabled the pack as the voltages on the cells are too low.
