    Question about PC PSU

That´s why I suggested to use a big 5W multiturn pot together with a 0,25 Ohm 5W shunt resistor in series. Together you will have a 10W resistor and the voltage between ADJ and OUT will always ramain the same, which is 1,25V but not 5V. So just to be on the safe side, you can take 10W for both.

    Question about PC PSU

So how about adding a secound 1 or 10k Ohm pot in parallel for fine tunning? In this case you would have to limit its resistance by adding a resistor in series to the secound pot. Both ends attached in parallel to the main multiturn pot.

    Question about PC PSU

Yes, a multiturn 5W 200Ohm pot in series with a 0.25 Ohm 5W shunt resistor should be fine.

    Question about PC PSU

Yes, we are done. I looked through your plans. They are very simple and obvious. Many things change with time but you will never change.... Just am suprised it took you so long to reply. So why arguing with you? Even If I would show you a photo of a pot inside a notebook PSU, you would try to...

    Question about PC PSU

Is saying who? The one who is catching each single word and starting the fight? Not again and not with me sir. Look for an other victim. But some things obviously didn´t change here....... one of them is obviously you......

    Question about PC PSU

As Cyparagon already said the adjustable can be set to certain voltages. Some are using dividers and others just a multi switch with preset resistors. Usually they can be adjusted between 12V and 25V. Most of them are also having a pot inside, so you can use this to adjust the voltage to your...

    Question about PC PSU

If I were you I would buy a adjustable universal notebook psu with 100W output. They are even cheaper on the bay than the secound hand PSU you were talking about. All you need is to modify it a bit and of course an Amp- and a Voltmeter to turn it into a adjustable desk psu.

Re: Review LPM'd eBay pens Nice pics, but where are the LPM results for them?

    First crystal set.

May I ask where you got the big cristal set from and what is it´s max output? At least it´s looking really promissing, but I think you will need oc mirrors for a higher output as it doesn´t look like they are mirrowed. The small set is already covered by mirrors, but for the big one you will...

Can anyone tell me if OdicForce is sending directly from the UK or from the Channel Islands?

How do you make your own laser with a laser diode?

This is a good starting point to build a laser from scratch. By building the driver for a laserdiode and so on. However for a green lasermodule not required as the module already has a driver, the diode, cristals and lenses already build in. All he needs is the module, a host and a li-ion...

Where to buy a good green laser module >200mw?

My 150mW module from lazerer is doing 220mW.

Where to buy a good green laser module >200mw?

Well. The seller will tell you a lot of good night stories to make profit and let you belive you got a 200mW one. For the cash you´ve spend you at least should get a real 200mW one. But the current draw is simply to low for a real 200mW greenie, exept his lasers are using some kind of...

Where to buy a good green laser module >200mw?

True. That´s why I said my examples are related to the ones with already a very good efficiency. Those with a bad one can take 700mA and more but just output 30mW. So you never know without a LPM, but only 380mA is way to low for a 200mW greenie. Even for a 100mW one.

Where to buy a good green laser module >200mw?

Not at just 380mA with the typical crystal setup. Exept yours has an incredible efficiency. A 100mW one is taking somwhere between 480 and 520mA, and my examples are given to the good ones with good efficiency.

Where to buy a good green laser module >200mw?

Hard to tell how many mW´s. For normal brass modules 380mA would be according to about 50mW, or even less, and 610mA-700mA to real 200mW. Normal matches can be burnt with a 200mW greenie with no problem. Even a 100 mW greenie can burn some of them. Those strike anywhere matches can be even...

DIY Thermal LPM for under $50

Not sure about the TEC, but you need one with a lot of junctions within a small area. If you want tu use such a LCD panel like the one you pointed to, you will either need a separate power surce or a DC to DC converter. The trimmers should be multi turn precision trimmers.

    O-like 400mw Crown Upgrade Review / Questions

You guys really should meter your lasers with an LPM rather than with a light meter by guessing which value is refering to 400mW. This is like holding a finger into the air, guessing the temperature and the speed of the wind to make a conclusion to how much solar activity our sun has today. As...

like this laser anyone seen b4

Exactly. And just feeded by a 16340. LoL Why not taking directly on of those tiny batteries from a watch. They would turn it into a 2W monster.
