there are many things that lasers can do. What you want out of a laser? for me, I like the nightime effects of seeing the beam at night.

I just asked cause I have no more batteries. I don't know why yours would just die. Mine will light up then after a minute slowly drop to a cheap dollar store laser level. I didn't thnk the battery was the problem cause many people say it just dies when the batter is too low.

Green lasers are way more expensive because they have crystals and stuff to make Near IR to green. I think DPSS means diode pumped solid state. I THINK!! I might be wrong on that. I don't hear much of it around here.

I saw rechargable ones at radioshack. 2 lithium rechargables with charger for 30 dollars. I might get it.

I only use my goggles indoors. There is absolutely no point of pointing at stars and stuff if you can even see it.
