I'm pretty sure its IR. These film negatives are supposed to pass IR through it. From what I see, if you can't see it, its dangerous.

A Camera won't work. The camera won't show you the focal point, you won't be able to focus and burn with it.

I'll be nice and answer. Its just rude to ignore new members. :-/ There are a lot of speckles around mine. I have a DX 5mw. I'm pretty sure it can't really be avoided. If you really want a cheap green. get a DX true (any power level) mw. Its the cheapest.
