Spyrorocks (brad) potentially join mod team

lol, I think you're confused. Who do you think supports me and what support exactly do you think they are giving me? There is no support, there is nothing to support. All I did was call attention to your groups dirty tactics, where you constantly make digs at Laserbee. This has nothing to do in...

WL: Been waiting for 3 months now.

I cancelled my order after 60 days, and still probably wouldn't even have it at this point even if I had kept it. Honestly I would just cancel the order and pick up a similar laser somewhere else, there are several vendors that are sponsors for the the forums that have lasers that are every bit...

    Completely Custom 445

Nice job. Gonna be hard to keep fingerprints off that though.

You know... That's actually a really good question. The short answer for me is that I simply never considered dave a vendor, but after you brought that up I had to re-evaluate why that was and what really does make that different and here's what I have come up with... It all revolves around how...

New Niche Driver Market with No Supply

It's already in the works by multiple parties. So expect to see some in the future (hopefully the near future lol).

What an odd comment coming from a member of the KenomPosse! 1. This thread is about Spyro, not Laserbee, your post was nothing but one more dig against jerry by the KenomPosse. I would have thought you guys would have learned by now, how many permanent bans does it take? :banned: Once again...

If you own 2 or 3, only you could tell me..

I have seen several comparison threads though I don't recall where they were atm. As I recall the comparison threads stated that both the Rayfoss and Arctic were severly underpowered with the Spartan coming out ahead in the power and burning aspects. For Beam Quality I believe the arctic...

    laser googles OD too high

Absolutely, it is not looking at the beam its self that is dangerous, it is the dot where the beam terminates that is a problem. So as long as it isn't terminating near you (ie hitting a wall, rock, floor etc...) then you should be ok. However, if you are pointing it in the sky please make sure...

What should a laser sound like?

The sizzling of burnt flesh should be the last sound you hear :).

What type of computer geek are you?

You know... I think Apple does some things well... the iPhone for example. But why in the world would I ever want to use a Mac computer. Just by default it's not compatible with 85% of the computers in the world to start with, that just seems like a no brainer to me. BTW, in regards to your...

Hope you picked up a little red laser to shine around like you're getting ready to snipe people :).

    Jayrob 18650 ss build

That's a pretty good reflection, I got into polishing copper when I was overclocking my PC, most of the high end Heatsinks use copper cores, I think I've still got some 4,000 grit sand paper here somewhere. If Jay really wanted to have some fun he could polish the sides while it's still on the...

    Jayrob 18650 ss build

Polishing is pretty simple to do, but it's fairly time consuming. Simply go to an auto paint supply shop and pick up several fine grained sand paper. Migrate up the grades of sandpaper until you get the desired shine, you can literally give copper a mirror finish just takes a bit of patients and...

    laser googles OD too high

I picked up the ARG goggles with an OD7 rating. I wanted to use the goggles for multiple wavelengths and I wanted good protection for the 445nm lasers given their high power. I use the goggles for when I'm burning stuff or generally shining it around in doors. If you wanted to see the beam...

    Ebay 3500 Lumens HID Flashlight

That thing is big enough to fit 4x A140 diodes :), pushing those at 2w each could potentially give you an 8w portable laser :). Of course you would still have to merge the 4 beams and who knows if the battery used currently could handle that kind of draw and for how long lol, but wouldn't that...

    less than 130USD = 1500mw (not a typo, 1.5w) green laser

Sounds like Wicked Laser style advertising to me. I highly doubt you will actually get 1500mW outta that laser. I suspect the other posters are correct and it's being pumped by a 1500mW IR, but the actual green you will get outta that in the end will be far less than 1500mW. I wouldn't believe...

    Mistake

That is how it should have been handled initially. Unfortunately it has already been made a public specticle at this point. If they want to settle it via PM's that's fine by me, but since it's already been made a public issue I don't see any problem with the confrontation occuring publicly...

    Mistake

My info is all based on what I have seen on LPF, I have never been on laserchat nor do I really see the need. There is more than enough info to keep me busy for years here on LPF :). I can't base anything off of something that happened on Laserchat because I have no idea what has occured there...
