All the 650nm lasers ive had, have great divergence and the higher powered 808nm diodes have bad beam profiles.

True, you can either take a chance to save some money or go with the trusted verified laser.

It would be really hard to light the tobacco with a 200mw laser, I think it would just burn the tobacco instead

It would be hard to tell if pot modding the laser did anything without measuring it cause turning up a bluray laser a couple of mw's is going to be hard to notice visually

Do those charge up to 4.2v?
