    Anus Bleeding :P

Ok... I don't know ANYONE who enjoys this subject, but I would like to recommend a supplement my doctor recommended to me. It's called DGL and it's made from licorice. You can pick up some fiber supplements too and eat those with any meal that consists of mostly meat. Good luck, there's no pain...

Heads Up.. PayPal/eBay the F%$king GREEDY PIGS.....

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking it may only work if your account has zero funds that are not on hold? Do you currently have unallocated funds Jerry?

How is this possible without tritium?

That was Post #31 of my laser glove thread.

    Awesome idea spyro :)

    daytime vs night time?

I always thought Australia was a prison colony.... and the laws they have passed have done nothing to disabuse me of that notion.

Looked at dot of a 2w Laser - Eye damage?

Based on your description I would expect it to be somewhere between 80mw and 200mw.

Looked at dot of a 2w Laser - Eye damage?

You can do an armature eye test on yourself by looking at different colored objects with different portions of your vision. If objects lose their color when they enter certain parts of your visual field then you may have a problem. If you think you may have vision problems you should go see an...

Looked at dot of a 2w Laser - Eye damage?

Did it make spots in your vision like when you see the sun? Just because someone put 2000mw on the label does not mean the laser is actually 2000mw. It's quite common for higher powered lasers to be under-spec. Personally, I suspect what you were holding was more like 200mw.. and probably...

    Laser Harp (Open Source) !

My green 5mw (or 12mw without IR filter) draw 275mA. You are going to have a VERY VERY difficult time estimating the power output of your laser based on current draw. If you really want to know you should get it tested. You can buy a cheap but effective LPM from laserbee, or you can find a...

    Splitting a fiber coupling

Would it be possible to take one laser at about 30mw and split it evenly into 5 fiber coupling lines? Has anyone here tried to do this?

How is this possible without tritium?

I think it's something more like this: glowing strips.

Looking for visible beam laser beam, help please!

Have you considered that you can see the beam of a normal laser given enough smoke in the air? The beam of a 100mw green laser can easily be seen with just a small amount of smoke. Little enough that the room might look just a tad bit hazy, and someone who wasn't looking hard wouldn't even see...

    emachineshop

It case anyone is wondering, the high cost was just a temporary problem. I guess the machines were busy that week or something.

    635nm vs 650nm

Having three pins when only two of them seem to be used confuses me. What is the third pin for? Why is it there?

    635nm vs 650nm

hmmm... it will take me a lot more research to get to the point where I could assemble my own modules, but I can try to figure it out once I get a break in my school work.

    635nm vs 650nm

I really want to go with the 653s, but at approximately $18 per unit vs $12 for the 650 the price is prohibitive. Thanks. I suppose I should look around and see if I can find a cheaper price for 635s. Just because a supplier is the cheapest for greens doesn't mean they are the cheapest for reds...

    635nm vs 650nm

Single mode diode modules, 10mw vs 20mw. Really, I can get them in whatever power I want, but I'm trying to match apparent brightness to 5mw of green. I would far prefer the more visible 635nm... but the cost is making me think of other options.

    635nm vs 650nm

So here is the scenario: I can get a 650nm diode for much less than a 635nm. Even at double the power the 650 is still 40% cheaper than the 635. So I'm wondering if there's much difference. Which one would you go with?

    5mw green laser 532nm

From what I understand growing a laser diode is a lot like cooking meth. Sometimes you get a nice, perfect crystal.. sometimes you get a flawed one. So they separate out the diodes into good ones that become high power diodes and bad ones that get powered lower. Now, if I'm right about all that...
