One thing I will be interested in is whether DHL sting you for importation and customs clearance fees. Here in the UK the "express" delivery companies use this practice, the clearance fee is charged for doing nothing more than DHL saying they have inspected the customs form and it matches...

You are of course correct ZRTMWA. However if you were asked to supply a high powered laser for review on these forums, would you lie and then send an underpowered POS? To be fair, I am pretty sure this one was cherry picked for the purpose. Anyway let's see what it is like when it arrives. Jerry

That particular Rayfoss one will not be IR filtered. As for "is IR filtering neccessary" the answer is not so simple. I would suggest you do some further reading on the subject and decide if you "need" it. IR filtering is desireable rather than neccessary, from a safety point of view IR light...
