What's your point? Why does that matter?

    Aw, shoot...

Never mind "Aw, shoot...", it's now "OH CRAP!" New problem: I broke the J106L "shunt bypass cap" (SMT A-size 10uf 6.3V tantalum capacitor). Could I go to RadioShack tomorrow to get just any ol' 10uf capacitor, or does it really need to be a 6.3V tantalum? Is it OK if it's more or less than...

    FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

So is it like the one in the second picture on the first page, just the lens is sticking out?

    High-efficiency diodes

I was afraid that would be the answer...But I don't have a power meter to know how powerful it is. I my DMM will measure temperature, though which could give me a rough idea...

FS: Key Chain Build Kit! - Fit for 10280 Battery...

This one's kind of nice because it allows poor kids like me to make one for less than $50.

FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! 445nm, Blu-ray, or Red...

Re: FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! Blu-ray or Red... Besides, even if you want to use a rckstr driver, just get 2 CR123s. Might be a little loose, but if you're not shaking much, shouldn't be too noticable. If you plan to use a FlexDrive, an 18650 should give you at least a few hours...

    High-efficiency diodes

Is there any trick to finding high-efficiency diodes? Like jayrob has in his Keychain build (seen here) a 6x BR diode at 183mA producing 215mW. Does anyone sell these? Or even like the PHR he mentions, 117mW at 117mA current. Mostly I'm really looking for PHRs kind of like that, but I'm...

FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! 445nm, Blu-ray, or Red...

Re: FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! Blu-ray or Red... Not if it's designed for AAs. AA lithiums are 14500, appx. 14mm x 50mm, vs an 18650, 18mm x 65mm.

    White laser diodes?

Interesting. Is that then why some seem bluer and some seem yellower? More blue or more yellow phosphor?

Just TRY and stop me! Please?

In my mind, that couldn't ever work, because the crystals are only designed to modify 'light', not gamma rays (or radio waves for that matter...if they were, you could turn an FM transmitter into a laser with a few crystals.

    White laser diodes?

Is it possible to have a laser diode that emits white light, like we have LEDs that emit white light?

    FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

So, IgorT, do you have a tutorial for the little AAA build, or something? I like it, but I don't want to have a bunch of money to buy a pre-made one, I want to do all the work myself.

Clear mobile internet company almost as bad as Apple

Sprint and Comcast have 4G networks, or at least Sprint is making their network 4G. Neither have WiMAX, at least not in the States. And I know it's not impossible. The biggest thing is just that they COMPLETELY undermine Wi-Fi.

*UPDATE* (sort of) So, I still haven't been able to mail the die, I've been super busy this week, midterms are next week for me. Hopefully I'll have it in the mail by Friday, though.
