i first noticed this last year and i also created a thread on this, wether i can find it is another thing. of course, at the time it was laughed off. i too did find it very strange how 473n/405nm lasers attracted bats closer to my window.

up for sale is a very very rare and unique optotronics RPL blue laser, measured at over +70mW average output. make no mistake, high powered dpss 473nm blue handhelds are rare as you know, but +70mW is one of a kind. i've had the laser for around 5 months but its only been taken out of the house...

i could have easily got a +200mw 473nm labby unit but seen as though i use my lasers outdoor mainly, a handheld laser was a must for me and for power/performance and durability i could look no further than optotronics. of course, dragonlasers spartanbp60 was an option too, but that lasers...

how's the divergence on the RPL blue? i cant be any happier with mine, its something ridiculous like 0.7-8mrad. the blue beam is such an eyebrow raiser, whoever i've shown it to they react with such disbelief and excitement and promise to buy one too, until they realise how much it costs.

it didn't cost much at all, $1500 is an absolute steal! :)

i sorta called it a day with lasers. i tried all sorts and bought all sorts to keep me occupied, but there was a part of me felt incomplete not owning a blue laser, just couldn't live without one so i went and splashed out on the best handheld blue laser money could buy. i'll try get some videos...

what a steal! $160 for two top quality lasers. these really would be better off going to someone who needs them more than i do.
