Yes, so LEDs and so on would be a much better choice. I know portable blacklights tend to sell well on Amazon, and of course, those would be dangerous too, being UV, and require warning labels and so on, but still much more merchandise-able.

Right on. This design could be used to make a cool portable blacklight, for example. There are a lot of subcultures into stuff with that Nightmare Before Christmas/Dia de los Muertos vibe.

The burning man crowd and the tech geeks already have lasers, this stuff isn't the rarity it used to be, but even if you replaced the lasers with simple LEDs I bet you could design stuff that would sell, you have an eye for it, in my opinion. Best of luck, bro!
