Yes, i can silently agree -there is a difference between what camera reacts on/for, and what situation you put it in. I guess, the laser few kilometre far from camera is another story, and I´m not the one, who can qualify or judge it. My fault. I only wanted to say, that there are technologies...

True, but if you know Flir cameras, you´d know, that it can see even a little percentage of any heat from the beam or exposed place. i.e 0.2 degree of celsius no problem todays or emmited IR light. So back again - If you have an IR filter, you are not so visible till you burn something.

And what do you think heat is? I used Flir handheld camers, and it´s capable to see IR or combined image of monitored place/thing. If the laser is powerfull, you will se The beam as same as the burning dot :-)

Issues will be here everytime when you do something or have something. That´s nothig to concern about If bigger part of buyers are happy with that products, and if service and warranty is performed everytime something happens...

Yes, you get it: If amount of reflected power is the same from color to color, it is better to see, what does it really do with your eye.
