    Beam combiners for 445nm ?

Don't Blu-ray sleds have little PBS cubes in them? Might be too small to work with a 445nm laser diode though...

    SUPER FREAK "445nm diode"

I think TEC and thermal sensor heads both measure the heat absorption from the laser light, regardless of wavelength, in most cases. Gary's right - Jerry would be a good one to chime in, or Johan with bluefan.

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

I'd bet a small lock washer of the right diameter would do the trick. I'm waiting on my G2 lens before I start on mine... :)

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

If anyone finds a good washer size and type or whatever to fit inside the focus adapter I'd prefer to use this over epoxy, in case my diode dies, then I can switch to a 650 lens, etc. and still use the adapter with having to break it free from the epoxy-lens union :na:

    Stonetek.org

He emailed me several weeks ago and mentioned he might have to sell off most of his laser stuff to pay for meds, etc. and I was gonna help him do so, but I haven't gotten word back from him. My guess is he's back in the hospital now.

Re: Cajunlasers 400mW 532nm (Pics) EDIT: WITH LENS MOD(SORT OF) - on page 2 Yep, them along with several other Chinese based stores :( Took over 3 months before my little copper heat sinks got in. Worst part is when you order in large quantities they pretty much force you to pay $40-50+ for...

Re: Cajunlasers 400mW 532nm (Pics) EDIT: WITH LENS MOD(SORT OF) - on page 2 Ok guys I just tested my older version of this 400mw 532nm O-like laser, this time it read ~450mw (no lens modding) and when metered through an IR filter the average power output was reduced by about 50mw on mine, so my...

Re: Cajunlasers 400mW 532nm (Pics) EDIT: WITH LENS MOD(SORT OF) - on page 2 Yep, I fully charged it when they arrived (I also bought a couple 16340's which made a difference in a 445nm B50 build - but I'm not sure if the trustfire was charges when I compared the two) I'm by no means a battery...

Re: Cajunlasers 400mW 532nm (Pics) EDIT: WITH LENS MOD(SORT OF) - on page 2 On my older version of this laser the front lens looked different, but did have a little bezel looking thing holding in the lens, it was very tightly screwed in and the tools I had on hand weren't able to back it off...

Re: Just got my Cajunlasers 400mW 532nm (Pics)I got the laser25 hours after paying fo Very nice! If you can shim it up with that washer, and your focusing ability is restored mostly, you can have a more powerful laser (hopefully it wasn't an IR filter) assuming you have no need for...
