    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Pretty soon we should all be qualified as K@shio sales reps :na:

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Too bad they started putting those stinking "void if opened" stickers on the projectors' lamp access panels now  (we coulda popped open the back panels and "checked" the diodes before removal :shhh:)

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Oh I gotcha ;) I just hope they don't discontinue that A series then.

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Well, the hope is to not have to significantly increase prices, of course right now the going rate for a seller of the 445nm diodes is ~$50 or so (except for DTR & those guys that have discount codes ;) ) But... if we keep having to buy more and more expensive projectors..... ~$900 with the "M"...

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

This is great to know Dave, & thanks for the diode examination and findings here. I wish there was an easy way for me to tell when my projector was made, b/c certainly we all would like to buy the cheapest projector chock full-o-diodes and get the best performing diodes, and keep our costs down...

    [0 AVAILABLE] FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100-120 Each

Re: FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100 Each Ideally for the best of both worlds (power output and duty cycle), I'd probably use a G2 lens for the best power, and set current to around 800mA - should get close to a one watt with a decent 445nm LD - and a tad more duty cycle. The use of a...

    [0 AVAILABLE] FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100-120 Each

Re: FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100 Each Believe it or not - it came from a newer A140v. The diodes from the last A140 I bought have the same little circle markings Daguin found on M140s and H1600s (he did a thread on this and I sent him a diode to further examine to see what's up)...

    LiIon Cell Sizing 'chart/guide'

The 22600 is likely the best substitute for a 3 x AAA holder for something very close size wise. It's larger than the 18500, & pretty close to an 18650 in capacity. Remember the Hotlights Hosts? I used to use the 22600s in those, since an 18650 was too long to fit, no matter how much spring you...

    [0 AVAILABLE] FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100-120 Each

Re: FS: 445nm, 900mW-1W Chrome Pens - $100 Each Wolfman - I've got a 1.3 watt 445nm pen :eg: (using a 405-G2 lens in it with a 925mA x drive) It's bad ass, but I don't play with it for more than about 10 seconds at a time. Hmm, that didn't sound right now did it? *For people looking for...

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

haha yeah no kidding I bought 15 of them, I have 12 left to try that didn't crap out [yet] ;) I'll try cutting the next spring back a little, and get me that number for that priest when you've got a minute, I hope he can perform both exorcisms and shoo away gremlins. :na:

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

They're the standard long spring DX switches that you provided with the hosts, my first one broke and had to wait until my others arrived to build. I'm not sure about the battery contacting the tailcap b/c it starts to turn on the laser way before it's all the way screwed in. I'll recheck the...

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

Has anyone else had this problem? I got several of these click switches from DX in, and they seem to work when tested outside of the Phobos, but once I press one in the tail cap, my 12x turns on and won't turn off by clicking it, only if I unscrew the tail cap. I've tried several switches with...

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

I don't have a problem donating one in the interest of science. No trade needed. :) You may want to borrow Blord's camera to show us the goods after opening it up  Dave PM me with your mailing address, I'll send you one.

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

I have some 445nm diodes left from the last A140V series projector I purchased, and they have that distinct circle mark above the square bar code matrix. I didn't look at any under high magnification but it's fairly obvious after seeing Dagiun and Blord's photos. I don't have a diode can remover...

    Stonetek.org

I've got three different emails for him, although two of them were associated with his website which isn't up anymore. I generally would communicate with him through his personal email. I have a phone number for him, however I haven't spoken on the phone with him in quite a while, kinda afraid...

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

Awesome man! I might have to let my module stick out a bit. I have one of those you custom made a module for. Nice job on the diode pocket, fits like a glove, I know those are very difficult to do.

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

Eud in your next host (Deimos) I would suggest allowing more pill area for a driver board so it doesn't need to be direct diode mounted and wires can be run. I was able to cram my microboost in the hole but just barely, once I wrapped it in electrical tape for insulation. I don't care for the...

From concept to reality - Phobos host (taking orders)

Started my 12x build, and had it wrapped up and finished and my damn switch broke! :banghead: No problem, I should get the ones I ordered 2 months ago in another 6 weeks or so, as they are marked "shipped" finally!. Anyway set a microboost to 550mA and with the G2 lens in it was...

I'll send him another email... I eventually should get a reply from him usually, but not hear anything else for months at a time... :( 3/23/12 Update: Still no replies back yet, sorry people :(
