Only bad thing with a 2 watt pen is the <5 second cycle time :crackup: It's now a 1.6 watt pen, FYI b/c I don't know what a cycle time is on my personal stuff sometimes - lol

How tall are they? FYI folks IMO after using both internal and external aftermarket tension springs, I've found the internal type to work much better (the ones I've used anyhow) and they also look neater on a build since you don't see them.

I understand, but if it's a component like the 8 pin chip on that board I can tell you that part number won't be given out. Why not snap a photo of it to see which part is bad?

If you don't want to simply buy another driver, maybe if we had a photo of the component Wolfman29 could determine which one is bad, order it for you and scrape of any markings giving away what # it is, and send it to you. Of course that's entirely up to Wolfman29, and that's a whole bunch of...

no, it's slightly recessed. It's one tiny host - be sure to clip the diode's pins a little to help avoid breakage, those OEM LPC-826 diodes' pins are long legged like a runway model - lol
