lol we did turn it sideways. I was at his house and tried it, then I noticed how much smoke there was and started to laugh that it wasn't lighting. It was seriously just flooding out. We managed to get this video, the amount of smoke isn't as extreme as it was seconds before this was recorded...

Re: 445nm A130 Lens Comparisons! Today I went to visit Humansymphony and check out his 445nm.. sure looks nice! We tried my 405-g-1 lens and it strangely didn't screw in all the way. the dot remained too big and he said it came in contact with the diode. The only thing I could think of was...

I wonder if WL will be using the 130 or 140. I wonder if eventually they will have a 500mW version that uses the 130 and a 1W version that uses the 140 or something...

Everyone that HumanSymphony had mentioned. I'm the closest to Rocketparrolett, I live in South Everett and he lives in North Everett, so it's literally down a long main road (couple miles away). HumanSymphony is the next city down, about a 15 minute drive.

what's the difference between teh 405-G-1 and 405-G-2? I'm guessing the G-2 lets even more light through? and if so how much?

Thanks! I ended up making them myself, however I used one of the blu ray one and edited it from there.

Those long pointer pictures with the name of the laser inside. A few members had them in their signature. It's not even considered a "picture" more like a wide "icon" of the laser if that makes sense..

Re: Left brain vs. Right brain "experiment" lol someone showed me this about 6 months ago or so... So though-out that day I had tried for probably an accumulative of 10 minutes and finally I got it perfect. Now I try and I can do it really fast no problem.
