    Kryton Groove Hosts

Already have owned one of these Kryton Groove's for a long time with a 445nm diode in it and it does an excellent job of keeping the diode cool. Just purchased two of them here and I can't wait to receive them. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great host for their build. Plus...

    Kryton Grooves coming back!

Count me in for two of these. Have a groove with a 445nm diode in it. I have to say that this is probably one of the best if not the best host around! Cheers!

    445nm A140 @ 600mW in Kryton Groove

After catching the bug that is 445nm, I had to go about obtaining one of these ultra powerful and ultra affordable lasers. I had considered pulling the diode from the 12x burners out there but the costs were a bit over the top. After hearing about the new diodes from these Casio projectors I...

'Tis a Sad State of Affairs

Wow thats unbelievable how that happened to ya Dave. Hopefully theyll do something stupid and get themselves arrested with the lasers and you would be able to track them down. I really hope some justice comes out of this for you.... Hopefully things will get better!

    Fog machines and smoke detectors

Was lookin at buying a fog machine and was just curious if it will trip my smoke detectors. I don't want to spend money only to find it causing the fire department to show up on my doorstep lol. Any input would be great! Thanks

    50mW green match lighting

Wow, which lens was it? Im curious as ive got a 100mW module and the only way i find myself lighting things is by using a magnifying glass.

    Green w/ visible beam

Depends on where he's ordering from, DX wont ship out lasers anymore to US customers. Ive had a few different lasers, ranging from 5mw to 100mW of dpss green. 5mW is visible at night, but nowhere nearly as bright as 100mW. I had a 50mW which was pretty bright at night but had no really good...

    Assembling a green laser

Sounds like you got it right. Im just not big on leadlight hosts since they offer little to no heatsinking properties. I built a laser in an MXDL housing and modified one of jayrob's heatsink's to fit the module (using the same one you want). If you do go with the leadlight host, make sure you...

    DX 100mw batteries

Ive run several pointers with one of the 10440's in them with a spacer, never ran into any problems! It may not last as long as it should (>5000 hrs) but its not going to burn it out. If youre really worried about this, I would consider building a higher powered laser that will stand the test...
