Speak to Psuedo, he's got them direct from CNI and he said they were'nt too good.
i was also interested in them.
until pseudo said they weren't too good.

I got a pic of the Circuit board of this light!!
Did what everyone said and maaged to get it out.
Had to pry it out from the bottom though, since whe i took the led off, there was pure aluminum, no hole to the cb.
Good heatsinking!
Pic as follows:

Hi
i was thinking it would be quite cool to get an RSS feed of LPF, so with a RSS reader, you can see any new posts straight away, then click to go to them.
That would be pretty nifty. 8-)
Jonno
Yeah, I wouldn't take the led of the star thing.
The pcb that the diode is mounted on has that white thermal epoxy on it, attached to the aluminum.
i will try and pry it out.
I just don't want to break it.
Jonno
I do't know how to get the circuit out.
The LED thing is epoxed with that thermal epoxy stuff and there doesn't seemto be a way to get it out from underneath. :exclamation
So...
Any advice?
Thanks

Okay, now If I put one of these circuits in my light which takes 2 lithium batts (7.2v total), how would I reduce this to run a LD from it?
Resistors or what?
Does the LM317 regulate voltage and current or just current?
Thanks
JOnno
So, if i got this: http://cgi.ebay.com/LM317M-SMT-Voltage-Regulator-Design-Kit_W0QQitemZ7622582019QQihZ017QQcategoryZ36331QQcmdZViewItem
ANd I put it together, it would be really small?
But, can it only take 100mA?
What is it mounted on?
Thanks
Oops :o :o
I am so stupid
I had two tabs open with reply page, and replied in the wrong one. [smiley=bath.gif] [smiley=bath.gif]
Sorry man, i might take them though, I still need to decide if I need them (yet).
