Direct Green Laser Diode Technology Progress

Sony wins, corprate bastards. They still gotta make them cheap efficient, consistent and reliable.

FEELER: Direct Green 50mw 515nm laser diodes

515nm is not so gresat for projectors, so these may end up being limited edition collectors items.

FEELER: Direct Green 50mw 515nm laser diodes

    Are these 510nm or 515nm?

FEELER: Direct Green 50mw 515nm laser diodes

It's ahead of 488nm, however I'm still waiting for <$120 if I do buy

    Osram PL450 450nm 80mW power chart

Has anyone tried to make a 5mw pointer out of these? How low can they go and still be stable?

Direct Green Laser Diode Technology Progress

Not sure of the prospects these diodes have. Clearly 510 is too low and they will probably need 520 -545nm to be of use to microvision. 515 gives you little room for error. As posted earlier here's the chart. I assume it means all the colors beyond the triangle should look the same on my...

    Not for Sale : 240mW 450nm Osram single mode C6 laser !

Re: FS: 240mW 450nm Osram single mode C6 laser ! Nice very tight beam with the Osram diodes. It beats the M140s in that catagory.

Anyone tried this supplier? 200mW 473nm

Why would you go 200mw on an off color laser? You can't view 200mw without gogles so who cares what the color is?

Is it possible to get a 200mw green laser in the us for under $50?

Maybe it'll be one of those crappy pens with no threading to hold it together.

Anyone interested in 493nm 200mW single mode?

About how much was the Argon 488?

    [SOLD] 1.85W Custom Z5 Build - Long Duty-Cycle!

Re: [For Sale] 1.85W Custom Z5 Build - Long Duty-Cycle! So many people are selling HP blues. I guess people just buy or build them and then are afraid to turn them on. I'm still pretty scared of mine and have only turned it on once.

    2X 2,175mW 445nm Lasers + drivers and stuff.

It's going to cost $75 to dispose of the Mercury properly.

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Vegeta, What does the scouter say about his power level? Not over 9000 but I think that scene pretty much some up this thread.

    Laserball 72x 450 nm 300 mW

It's China, they make pills from out of the organs of second born children. Hard to tell if that is supposed to be a weapon or for entertainment.

    Osram PL450 450nm 80mW power chart

This subforum probably needs to be renamed 445-450nm, since it has trended that way.

    B&W Tek BWB-10-OEM - 473nm 10mW

Here's my favorite PS mount. No fans needed, just gotta make sure I don't spill anything on it. Needs to be 3" by 5" though 98mm is too small.

    B&W Tek BWB-10-OEM - 473nm 10mW

Got mine today. Don't have an lpm but it's a lot more than 10 MW looking looking at the spot strains your eyes and it's not small either. Hopefully I can find an enclosure to mount PS and the controller. But overall a good $75 investment.

Nichia 515nm 25mW Laser Diode Specs - Now Published

Sorry to rain on your parade, but the whole $20 thing is a misinterpretation. It is a goal that Micro vision needs to stay alive not an actual future projection. It's not impossible but I think it's very unlikely they will get reliable 520nm for <$20 by the end of the year. I hope I'm wrong

I'll believe it when I see it.

    445 1.2W Guidesman Host PRICE DROP $115

Payment sent. I was actually thinking of doing the same thing, inspecting this laser and upgrading the driver/lense or building my own.
