It is true with the experience I had with Vista. I played around with it on a friends computer and it was a piece of crap...really bloated acting..very slow. After that I knew Vista wasn't for me. The best Windows operating system for me has been XP 64 Pro. Very stable and fast...never crashes...

A peltier does not require much current at all to keep a diode cool because the diode doesn't require a large peltier. And condensation is easily controlled: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1188199703

That doesn't work because of the way battery companies determine their capacity. The more current you draw from an alkaline battery the less capacity it has. Go to energizer and look at the graphs. NIMH batteries hold up much better. And eneloops are the bomb... ;D
